It was a pleasure to recently host our Investor Christmas Evening where we put a brief spotlight on 2025 and whether it’s the year to buy, sell or hold. For the record it’s always the year to buy and hold but if you are in a position that selling is the right move, here’s the slides from the night where our friends at CoreLogic look at the performance of Brisbane Rental Rates and Dwelling Values over time whilst our friends at HTW publish the National Property Clock and where they see Brisbane in Houses and Units.
In short Brisbane enjoyed a rental growth rate of 4.1% and dwelling value growth rate of 13.0% according to CoreLogic and HTW place Brisbane at around 9 o’clock meaning there’s some growth to be enjoyed in 2025. For the record I was asked to commit to a number for 2025 and I landed on late single digit growth for our Brisbane. There’s so many scenarios to play out here but all in all, it will be a good year to buy or hold, and of course, we’re here to help if you are curious on what your property/s would achieve.
